Palindrome Finding Algorithms
September 20, 2004
It seems like a recent video on MSDN’s Channel 9 hasĀ folks doing their own palindrome implementations, being a good little lemming, I did my own. I’ve decided that I am going to use my implementation as the basis for a demo I’ll probably do tomorrow on profiling applications.
Hopefully if I can push enough load through it I might be able to find something to optimise (thankfully I have a backup plan).
Iconkits.com

Dave Caolo has linked to a really cool icon retail site. I’m tempted to buy one or two of these kits for a Windows Forms app that I am working on at the moment. I must be a closet Mac user because I am drawn to the glassy ones over the XP-style ones.

CodeReview is Up
September 20, 2004
I’ve finally gotten around to setting up my WikiWikiWeb (thanks to FlexWiki). The main driver behind setting up the Wiki was to start collecting a series of standard “code reviews” that can be used over and over again. I made an example post here on my blog about checking for null before cleaning up resources. I have recreated that content on the Wiki and made reference to Omer’s comments.
.NET Geek Weekend
September 20, 2004
OK, so I have this idea. I want to pick a regional centre somewhere between Sydney and Melbourne (as the major population centres) and arrange a weekend (arrive late Friday night, leave Sunday afternoon) where .NET geeks can come together for some adhoc technical presentations and knowledge sharing.
I’ve started a Wiki page on my new Wiki (yay!) to help flesh out the idea. If you are interested put your name here and help get it organised. I really want it to be grass roots which is why I am posting up about it here, if you have something to say, then contribute!
