That is a bit of a title but I want to make sure that I get the GoogleJuice flowing since I know that there will be tableteers out there that are suffering the same way that I was suffering. So - first, what is the problem statement?
Windows Vista (RTM) does not automatically support the buttons around the side of the screen on the Fujitsu Lifebook T4210.
So - what is the solution? Well I tried the light touch approach by installing the button driver for Windows XP, however I didn’t get much joy from this and I have been living with it for about a week. I tend decided that I would try the button utility- joy!
What I did was download the zip file, unpack it and right mouse click on the SETUP.EXE program. On the compatibility tab I told it that it was Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and then press OK. Then I ran SETUP.EXE by right mouse clicking on it and selecting run as Administrator. Bingo - it just works.
Note: It might just be me, but it seems that the screen rotation doesn’t work quiet as fast on Vista as it did on XP. It could be just the extra load that Vista puts on graphics cards (the T4210 is a prety souped up Tablet).

I’ve got screen rotation working, the only thing missing for me now is Bluetooth stack support from Toshiba, and I think that is out in December. Well, i’m the first one here to say that the above procedure isn’t working on my tablet. Lifebook T 4210. Tried everything, install, remove, reinstall, repair, with and without reboots… The buttons are still not working, nor the autorotate.
If sombody still has an idea it would be helpfull.
