Clandestine == ASIS?

I was looking up the correct spelling of clandestine on Google and came across this little sponsored link at the top of the search results:

I thought the advertisement was amusing since ASIS is supposed to be fairly secretive, but I guess they have to cast a wide recruiting net. For those of you who don’t know, ASIS stands for the Australian Secret Intelligence Service and is charged with the responsibility of gathering intelligence on foreign soil.

An article on Everything2 describes a little bit about how ASIS became known to the general public back in 1983.

Hanging out at the Melbourne .NET User Group!

11 09 2007

I headed into the city this afternoon to catch the Melbourne .NET User Group meeting tonight. I haven’t been to a MDNUG meeting in a VERY long time. Tonight Matt Cosier (Readify) and Jey Srikantha (K2).

Matt is doing a good job explaining the MOSS BDC from a developers perspective and Jay is up next. Of everything in MOSS the BDC is one of the things that I find most interesting because of its ability to allow users to get access to business data and build their own lightweight applications from lists.
