BlogML 2.0 Released and the future of SingleUserBlog!

I haven’t had much of a chance to blog about what has been happening in Darren’s world lately, its like we have been two ships sailing in parallel, firing the occasional warning shot across each others bow.

Darren is busy, I’m busy, but I decided to spend some time reading through his blog posts this afternoon. It seem sthat the big news is that BlogML 2.0 has been released and SingleUserBlog has gone Shared Source and been placed on CodePlex.

BlogML is really significant because it will hopefully encourage some of the weblog publishing platforms to adopt it as an import and export format. My recent experience of moving from .Text to WordPress has proven to me how valuable this would be, RSS and Atom just don’t cut it.

Of course, one of the first platforms to support BlogML was SingleUserBlog. Darren obviously has plans for SUB around Live, hopefully he can get something happening.
